Jason Lowder is an avid nature photographer from North Carolina with an eye for capturing the beauty of the woods in a new light.
Photography is my outlet.
My photos reflect how I feel – I hope to connect with people through my images.
For most of my life I enjoyed spending time in the woods.
It was a place I could go and escape from everything.
I started out photographing them, just to capture what I was so in love with.
I realized that I could really start experimenting, becoming more abstract.
I feel that editing can also be considered its own art medium.
It gives you the ability to create something completely different.
I like to branch out, I’m always willing to try new things.
I never want to limit myself.
I always want to be better.
I think that no matter how good you are, you can always learn more.
I try to capture something unique in all my photos.
Ultimately, my biggest passion is creating art in the woods that I love.
